What is AAHA Accreditation?
The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is a non-profit organization that critiques veterinary hospitals in the US and Canada.
To become AAHA-accredited, our veterinary clinic has undergone a meticulous evaluation process to ensure we meet the over 900 AAHA Standards of Accreditation.
These standards cover hospital safety, patient care, diagnostics, pain management, contagious disease management, continuing education, dentistry, and emergency/urgent care, among others.
Why AAHA Accreditation Matters
Since 1933, AAHA’s ultimate goal has been to help veterinary professionals provide exceptional care to pets and their owners.
This is designed to make your veterinarian’s life easier while elevating the care available to your pet. Because accreditation is voluntary, each hospital that chooses the AAHA path truly believes in the high standards upheld by the organization.
You can rest assured that AAHA-accredited veterinary practices and team members are driven to be the best and care about your dog or cat's health and well-being.
