Determining Which Food is Best for Your Pet

Depending on your dog or cat's age, breed, species, and health status, their dietary needs and preferences can differ significantly. Our team offers dietary counselling to help you determine what food best fits your loyal companion's needs.

Our veterinary team team will work in partnership with you to develop a veterinarian-approved nutrition plan that meets your pet's nutritional needs within your budget.

While high-quality foods formulated to address health problems may seem tedious, they could help alleviate or significantly reduce your pet's symptoms and the need for other more expensive treatments.

The Nutritional Counselling Process

We’ll start by conducting a physical exam and a health analysis to determine your dog or cat’s specific nutritional needs. We'll then use that information to develop a custom food plan to meet those needs.

We may recommend using prescription diet food products, depending on if we feel they will have added benefits for your companion that conventional store-bought products may not.

As pets age, their nutritional needs change, so it is essential to reassess their diet and lifestyle every so often, to ensure they are getting all the nutrition they need for good health.

How Can Veterinary Nutritional Counselling Help?

Our dietary counselling services can help address concerns you might have with your pet's nutrition and health. It can also help you:
